The bow sections of Britain's new aircraft carrier, to be called Queen Elizabeth arrive at Rosyth Dockyard on the Firth of Forth in Scotland. They began their journey on March 31st 2010 at the Appledore Shipyard in North Devon. The vessel which weighs 65000 tons, is due to enter service around 2017 and will act as the base for around 50 aircraft and helicopters.
