Perrie Edwards has been getting over her split from Zayn Malik by smooching Mickey Mouse.

The Little Mix singer and the former One Direction star ended their two-year engagement last month, and Perrie - a self-confessed Disney fanatic - has posted a picture of herself alongside bandmate Jade Thirlwall kissing the iconic cartoon character.

The 22-year-old star - who's seen wearing a white crop-top, a figure-hugging skirt, black heels and aviator sunglasses - captioned the photograph on her Instagram account with a kissing-themed emoji.

Meanwhile, Jade is seen in a white dress, sat on her knees next to Minnie Mouse.

Perrie's posting of the photograph comes shortly after she revealed herself to be a big fan of One Direction's new single 'Drag Me Down', which is their first since Zayn walked away from the band.

Perrie admitted the new track is her favourite song of the summer, saying: ''I like One Direction's new song 'Drag Me Down'. It's incredible.''

By contrast, Zayn recently signed a solo deal with RCA Records and since announcing the move, he's promised that his eagerly-awaited new album will be ''amazing''.

He posted on Twitter: ''Gonna get this done for you !! I promise this album will be amazing .. (sic)''
