Perrie Edwards has insisted she's ''good'' following her unexpected split from Zayn Malik, even though one of her pals has revealed she's ''livid'' with the former One Direction star.
Perrie Edwards has insisted she's ''good'' following her split from Zayn Malik.
The 22-year-old Little Mix star was reportedly dumped by the former One Direction heartthrob two weeks ago but in her first interview since the news broke she has told fans she's fine.
Appearing on E! in Los Angeles - where the band are currently promoting their new single 'Black Magic' - the presenter asked: ''Perrie, obviously I know it's a very tough time for you with the news breaking today about you and Zayn, so your fans I know are heartbroken. Everyone just kind of wants to know how you're feeling?''
Looking upset, Perrie replied: ''I'm good, thank you.''
But bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock was quick to move onto other subjects to stop the blonde beauty from getting emotional, chipping in: ''We don't really want to talk about it.''
However, Perrie - who had been with the hunk for four years and engaged to him for two - is said to be ''livid'' with her former beau following their unexpected split, which comes just weeks after they bought a £3 million house together.
A friend told The Sun newspaper: ''To say Perrie is fuming is an understatement. She's absolutely livid.
''After all she's been through. She's stuck by him and been his rock - and this is how she's been repaid.
''Perrie thought the relationship was the best it's ever been, so to split up now is really hard to take.''
''Perrie has been doing a lot of soul-searching over the past two weeks, trying to work out why Zayn came to the decision.
''She'd been planning their wedding presuming they were going to spend the rest of their life together.
''She still doesn't know the real reason, but she's not going to let her band-mates down and is determined to face up to questions during their time in the States.''
