Perrie Edwards doesn't have a sense of smell.

According to her Little Mix bandmate Jade Thirlwall, the 22-year-old beauty - who is engaged to former One Direction star Zayn Malik - is unable to smell anything.

Speaking about their new fragrance 'Gold Magic', Jade said: ''We can't believe we have a fragrance ... it feels very pop star! We all like pretty similar perfumes and wanted a fun scent that also had an air of sophistication so that it caters for everyone. It's been so interesting learning all about how a perfume is made and deciding on so many things, down to the design of the packaging and bottle, and the name 'Gold Magic'.

''We love the perfume and wear it all the time - and although Perrie doesn't have a sense of smell, she trusts our judgement!''

And Perrie - who confirmed she didn't have a sense of smell - has revealed the lemon meringue tones are her favourite because she loves lemon meringue pie.

When asked about their favourite fragrance notes in the perfume, Jade said, ''I love the watermelon - it smells so fresh!'' whilst Jesy Nelson added, ''Red apple.''

Leigh-Anne Pinnock's favourite was the ''fruitiness of the raspberry'' whilst Perrie told Dare magazine: ''I don't have a sense of smell, but the lemon meringue would have to be my fave (favourite) because I love lemon meringue pie!''
