“I kissed a girl and I liked it,” sang Katy Perry on her hit record, and it looks as though Paris Hilton is singing from the very same hymn sheet. The Hollywood heiress made out with another girl at a nightclub in Las Vegas early on Monday (October 31, 2012), though it looks like the move was a bridge too far for her boyfriend, who just, well, started hitting people.

According to TMZ.com, a male clubgoer filed a report with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department claiming his girlfriend was “making out” with Paris inside the XS nightclub before the star’s own boyfriend River Viiperi got upset. The alleged victim claims Mr Viiperi decided to punch him in the face at around 2.30, leaving him requiring medical attention. The man told security staff that he wanted to press charges against River – a male model – and he was subsequently arrested once police arrived. He was cited for misdemeanour battery and released.

Hilton – who has not been accused of any wrongdoing - had already left the scene by the time cops arrived. Police say they will continue to look into the matter.
