Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's ''wild and crazy'' romance was too much for them both.

The pair got married in 1995, just four days after they met, and divorced three years later and Pamela admitted she has never loved anyone as much as her ex.

She told PEOPLE: ''He was the love of my life. We had a wild and crazy beginnings that was too much for both of us.

''It really was love at first sight. I only knew him four days before I married him. There was Tommy and then there was nobody else. There's a connection there that will always be.''

Pamela, 48 and 52-year-old Tommy have sons Brandon, 19, and Dylan, 17, together and these days they have a good relationship as they focus on co-parenting.

She explained: ''I had beautiful children with him. My kids are grateful to be born out of true love. Everything else I was trying to piece together.

''We're good friends, we're getting better at co-parenting our kids. He's such a supporter of mine and I'm really happy we're on such great terms.''
