Pamela Anderson is ''still devastated'' over her split from Rick Salomon.

The 47-year-old actress, whose settled her divorce from the entrepreneur on Monday (27.04.15), has reportedly stopped communicating with him to give herself time and space to heal.

A source close to the pair, who first tied the knot in 2007 but had their marriage annulled two months later before remarrying in 2014, said: ''They both went into this hopeful with good intentions. They were trying to revive a difficult past year that was full of empty promises.''

The former 'Baywatch' beauty's marriage crumbled for the second time due to their ''different philosophies'' and lifestyles.

The insider told PEOPLE.com: ''Pamela is still devastated as she tried to hold the family together.

''As open-minded as she is, she is still just an old-fashioned, small-town romantic girl - while Rick will always be a city-street kid. Marriage doesn't suit his lifestyle. Still, Pamela will always be the love of his life.''

Pals believe the former couple will be friends again in the future.

The source explained: ''It has been an emotional roller coaster since their first marriage. We all know they will be friends again one day, but the dramatic divorce took its toll and caused unnecessary grief. Pamela has pushed Rick away completely and will not speak to him. We are sure it is for the best for now.''
