Paloma Faith has had a dig at her fans saying they didn't know the words to the songs on her first album at her gigs. And she went on to call Glastonbury ''absolutely sh*t''.
Paloma Faith has slammed Glastonbury Festival.
The 'Only Love Can Hurt Like This' singer has bad-mouthed the music festival, which she is due to perform at next Saturday (27.06.15), declaring it ''absolutely s**t''.
She moaned: ''I would recommend watching it on telly at home because in all honesty it's absolutely s**t.''
The 33-year-old star made the remark at her sold-out performance at Hampton Court Palace Festival in London last night (18.06.15), where she also shamed audience members for not singing along to the tracks from her debut album, 2009's 'Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?'
She ranted: ''I am guessing none of you bought the first album because you didn't seem to know the songs.
''But if you do much travelling on the motorway it will be in the petrol station for 99p.''
And later on in her set, she went on to berate the older members of the crowds for staying seated during her performance because she believed they should be on their feet and dancing.
She moaned: ''If they put you on velvet quilted chairs, maybe I would forgive you. But I have seen them - they're the sort of chairs you bring out at Christmas when grandma comes round for a visit.''
