Orlando Bloom was grateful for the lurking paparazzi on Friday (02Apr10) - after a couple of photographers helped him restart his motorcyle on a New York City street.
The British actor turned to the snappers after realising his motorbike's battery had died following a romantic meal with supermodel girlfriend Miranda Kerr in a Manhattan eatery.
In a video posted on TMZ.com, the star is heard asking the photographers, "Do you want to stand around and watch or help me get the bike started?"
Bloom mounted his bike, while two snappers ran behind him and pushed it to a start - and he made sure to thank the men as he drove back to the restaurant to pick up Kerr.
He told them, "Every once in a while you come in handy."
