The 1D members received a special kind of honor with lookalikes in the world's most famous wax museum.
Madame Tussauds wax museum has unveiled its latest additions and (this is one for the fangirls) it’s none other than the One Direction boys.
No, for real, in the pictures, the wax dolls look so eerily realistic, that anyone would be forgiven for mistaking them for the real thing. Well, anyone but a true directioner, of course. Yes, it’s Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson in the flesh (well, wax) and they will remain in the museum for three whole months. The official unveiling if the figures is today, so Directioners had better hurry and get their tickets.
Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis and Niall were very impressed with the creepy exact replicas and called the waxy lookalikes 'wicked' and 'bang on'. No doubt fans of the band will be impressed and eager to get their hands on the 1D boys (or the next best thing). However, if you’re one of those, eager to catch a glimpse of the figures, you better be quick. The band’s dopplegangers will only stay at the London Madame Tussauds for 12 weeks before heading out on their own world tour to museums in New York and Sydney. Almost like the boys themselves, except for the, you know, singing, dancing and bringing fans to a screaming frenzy.
After the unveiling, 1D are once again off on tour, with their dopplegangers soon to follow.
