Olly Murs' latest single 'Beautiful To Me' is about his model girlfriend.

The pop star has let slip the track is his way of telling beau Francesca Thomas - who he has dated since meeting her at V Festival in 2014 - she is the love of his life.

Speaking on UK TV show 'This Morning', the 31-year-old singer said: ''For me (the single), it's about telling your partner or the person you love that they are beautiful to you no matter what.''

Asked if the song was about Francesca, he grinned as he said: ''It might have been ... It was one of those subjects we wanted to write about in the studio. With the way social media is these days, and magazines, everyone wants to look a different way, but you need someone just to turn round and say to you, 'You're beautiful to me darling, you don't need to change.' ''

Although he's able to put his feelings into a song, Olly - who will be co-hosting the next series of 'The X Factor' with Caroline Flack - still gets ''embarrassed'' when he gives his lover ''compliments'' when talking to her.

He admitted: ''Yeah. You always get embarrassed don't you? But I always give my girlfriend the compliments she deserves.''
