The Anaconda hitmaker will play hairdresser Draya in the follow-up to 2004's Barbershop 2: Back in Business, according to Variety.com.

Original cast members Ice Cube, Anthony Anderson and Eve are slated to return to the film, which is being directed by The Best Man Holiday's Malcolm D. Lee.

This will be the second onscreen role for Minaj following her debut in 2014's The Other Woman.
