Nicki Minaj treated the audience at the MTV European Music Awards to special souvenirs by handing out personalised banknotes during the ceremony in Scotland on Sunday night (09Nov14).

The rapper, who was hosting the prizegiving in Glasgow, showered the crowd in the fake currency, which could be used to buy a drink at the venue's bar.

Minaj said at the event, "I had some special money printed just for you guys. Now these Minaj notes aren't legal currency but they get you a free drink at the bar."
