Nick Jonas is ''trying to move on''.

The 'Jealous' hitmaker - who split from Olivia Culpo last month - is reportedly desperate to leave the past in the past but is being bombarded with texts from his ex.

A source told OK! magazine: ''She's been trying to text him and trying to see if that will mend their relationship and he's not having it. He's trying to move on.''

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old singer recently opened up about his split from the former Miss Universe contestant, insisting the pair had ''a great two years''.

He shared: ''I wish the best for her in the future and we had a great two years.''

When asked about his dating future, he added: ''I don't know, it's too early. I'm focused on my work and that, to me, is the priority right now.''

A source previously claimed it was the long distance which caused the breakdown of Nick and Olivia's relationship.

They said: ''This has been a sensitive matter and both of them still love and care about each other and only want the best for one another.

''The long distance and ups and downs have been weighing on the two of them lately and it has not been easy but they know this is the best decision for them at this time.''
