Nick Jonas is ''happy'' being single.

The 'Jealous' hitmaker has insisted he's enjoying some time alone having recently ended his two-year relationship with former Miss USA Olivia Culpo.

He said: ''More than anything I'm actually just happy to be a solo person right now. It feels good to be my own person.''

Although the 22-year-old singer suggested he isn't on the look out for a new girlfriend, he went on to say he doesn't have ''a type'' when it comes to the women he chooses to romance.

He explained: ''I don't really have as type, I kind of go all over the map. It's all over the place. There's not really a consistency with the people that I'm drawn to.''

Meanwhile, Nick - who stars in TV drama 'Kingdom' - revealed he is keen to relocate to the UK at some point, having sold his Hollywood Hills mansion earlier this year, but said the British capital is out of his price range.

Asked whether he has ever considered moving to London, he told BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw: ''I've thought that many times. After I did Les Mis here I actually looked at a few places, and was like, 'This is really expensive,' so I didn't get a place, but at some point I'd love to live here and spend a little more time here.

''I've been to a couple of the cities like Manchester and Liverpool, that kind of run of things, but I'd love to actually get into the countryside, in a cottage.''
