Nick Jonas enjoyed ''a great two years'' with ex-girlfriend Olivia Culpo.

The 'Jealous' hitmaker - who recently separated from the American actress - has refused to reveal why they decided to call an end to their relationship, but confessed he doesn't plan on getting into another one anytime soon.

He said: ''I wish the best for her in the future and we had a great two years.''

Asked about his dating future, the 22-year-old singer said he is simply ''focused'' on his career.

Speaking to E! Online, Nick said: ''I don't know, it's too early. I'm focused on my work and that, to me, is the priority right now.''

Although Nick was coy about the break-up, a source recently hinted it could have been caused by his work commitments and the fact they were ''long distance''.

The source explained: ''This has been a sensitive matter and both of them still love and care about each other and only want the best for one another.

''The long distance and ups and downs have been weighing on the two of them lately and it has not been easy but they know this is the best decision for them at this time.''
