Nick Cannon wants Mariah Carey to be ''happy''.

The 'America's Got Talent' host - who has four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with his estranged wife - isn't upset that the 'Hero' hitmaker is now romancing businessman James Packer and ''supports'' her personal decisions.

A source told E! News: ''Nick and Mariah are on better terms these days. Mariah is in really good spirits and there has not been arguments with them for sometime now.

''Nick is doing really well in his personal life and he just wants Mariah to be happy. He feels as long as his kids are in good hands, he will support any decision Mariah makes.''

And the 34-year-old star - who is dating model Jessica White - will ''always love'' the 42-year-old singer and he is just pleased she is in such a ''great place'' right now.

The source added to E! News: ''Mariah will always be in Nick's life that will never change. It makes Nick happy that Mariah is in a great place in her life between work and love. He will always love her and support her, no matter what happened in their relationship in the past.''

While Mariah and James' relationship seems to be getting serious quickly, insiders insist the pair - who are currently vacationing in Ibiza - won't be rushing into anything.

A source said: ''They are not talking marriage...She's enjoying his company...This trip is a chance for her to really get to know him.

''She's having a lot of fun being courted!''
