The 'Best Song Ever' singer wants to invest money earned from his One Direction fame into a bar, and already has designs on the Danny Byrnes pub in his hometown of Mullingar.
A friend of the 19-year-old star told the Daily Star newspaper: ''He used to play his guitar there before he found fame on [TV show] 'The X Factor'. Niall is interested in either buying the place outright or investing a lot of money into transforming it into a cool, rock 'n roll pub. He also plans to have a big party there for his 20th birthday next month.''
Niall has been under the legal drinking age of 21 while touring in the US but claimed he was looking forward to a drink after flying nine friends from his hometown to attend V Festival in England over the weekend .
He said: ''Don't worry, I'll be getting on it as hard as anyone...''
Meanwhile his crew were restricted from bringing a bevy of beauties back to his luxury Winnebago.
A female fan said: ''Niall's bodyguards wouldn't let anyone take pictures. His friends asked me and my friends to their after party. We were upset they didn't let us in, but I think his mates were even more disappointed.''
