The ever fashionable Olivia Palermo is now a married woman, after wedding her fiancee Johannes Huebl, in what looks like one of the most stylish weddings of the year so far. Of course, Olivia is known as one of the most fashion forward celebrities, but the 28 year old has certainly met her match in Johannes. Model, photographer and shoe designer, let us introduce you to the new Mr Olivia Palermo.

28 year old German born Johannes was once dubbed ‘Joe Hotness’ and is one of Instagram’s most re-grammed men. He first moved to American to pursue modelling after studying Applied Cultural Science at the University of Lueneburg, Germany, with the emphasis in film and photography, cultural history and philosophy. So far his modelling career has seen him appear in campaigns for DKNY, Mango, Hugo Boss and Ralph Lauren as well as publications such as GQ, Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar magazine. He’s also the brand ambassador for Royal Salute whisky.

But Huebl is more than just a fashion plate. He’s also experienced behind the camera, working as a photographer. In April, some of his worked was was auctioned at Pikolinos’ fundraising gala at the United Nations in support of the Maasai tribe and ADCAM NGO’s schooling project. Alongside his modelling and photography work, Huebl has also recently added shoe designer to his CV, having collaborated with Italian Shoe company Scarosso on a capsule collection.

Palermo and Huebl were first rumoured to be an item in 2008, after meeting through mutual friends at a movie screening in New York. The couple became engaged six years later on New Years eve, when Huebl presented Olivia with a stunning large carat canary-yellow emerald-cut diamond ring. They then celebrated with a romantic new year’s holiday St Barts.


The couple’s wedding took place this past weekend with an intimate ceremony in Bedford New York. The ever stylish Olivia ditched tradition in favour of a Carolina Herrera ensemble of a sweater, shorts and overlaid tulle skirt. Equally stylish Johannes perfectly complimented his bride in in a bespoke tailored white Marc Anthony Hamburg suit.
