The Vaccines had fights over the track listing for their new album 'English Graffiti' and one band member even suffered a broken nose.
The Vaccines' Justin Young has admitted the band had ''fights'' over the track listing of their album 'English Graffiti.'
The 28-year-old frontman penned over 150 songs for the rockers' new track collection but whittling it down to just 10 resulted in one band member getting a broken nose.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: ''I would write every day and I think I probably had about 150 songs. In the past, it's always been so easy to know what a Vaccines song is, but this time it took us a while. We had fights about the track listing because we had to work out what we wanted the record to sound like. I won't say whom, but someone in the band got his nose broken over it at 5am!''
He added: ''It took a few months but then everything became so clear and we just chose the ten or 11 best.''
The English musician, who previously revealed he suffers from clinical hypochondria, believes the band - also consisting of Freddie Cowan, Árni Árnason and Pete Robertson - has contributed to his mental health issues.
He explained: ''It's hard and all tied into addiction and OCD, so it's constant and hard to escape. It causes me to have all these sensations and pains.
''But at the root of it is sensitivity and self-obsession and without those, you wouldn't be talking to me now.''
