Photographer Terry Richardson has opened up about the numerous accusations of sexual harassment which have surfaced in recent years. 48-year-old Richardson has photographed the world’s biggest celebrities and can put Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar as just a couple of the glossy magazines he has worked with on his resume.  Over the past decade models have been coming out of the woodwork, claiming that Richardson abused his position and made them do things for shoots that they felt uncomfortable with.

Terry Richardson Sexual Harrassment AccusationsTerry Richardson has always denied claims that he sexually harrassed young models he worked with

Richardson spoke to New York Magazine: “It was never just me and a girl ever. It was always assistants, or other people around, or girls brought friends over to hand out. It was very daytime, no drugs, no alcohol. It was a happening, there was energy, it was fun, it was exciting, making these strong images, and that’s what it was. People collaborating and exploring sexuality and taking pictures.”

The photographer continued: “I don’t have any regrets about the work at all. But obviously I don’t ever want someone to feel like that. It was never my intention. But also, people do things, and then they have regrets, and that’s also nothing to do with me. They don’t do pictures like that again…I’m OK with myself and everything, and that to me is the most important thing.”
