Late pop star Simone Battle's mother has set up a foundation in her daughter's name to support young women in the entertainment industry.
The 25-year-old G.R.L. bandmember and former The X Factor U.S. contestant hanged herself on 5 September (14), and her mum Donna Morgan has now launched the Simone Battle Foundation to help women in a similar state of despair.
Kim and Khloe Kardashian are supporting the campaign, and they both shared a link to the website on Twitter.com, asking their fans to visit the page.
The online foundation was set up on Wednesday (29Oct14) and had raised $240 (£150) at the time Wenn went to press.
