What's with all the arrests this weekend? The latest arrestee is famed real estate heir and murder suspect Robert Durst. Durst has been a suspect for the murder of a friend for the past 15 years. He is currently the subject of the HBO documentary The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst. 

He was arrested on Saturday in New Orleans, on a warrant issued in a homicide investigation issued by Los Angeles County. The news was first reported by The New York Times.

Durst has fallen under suspicion for two separate crimes. Durst's friend and confidante, journalist Susan Berman, was shot dead in her house in Benedict Canyon on Christmas Eve, 2000. Numerous questions have been raised about how much Durst knew about her death. In addition, he is still suspected for his possible involvement in his first wife's disappearance in 1982 and the shooting of a neighbor in Texas in 2001.

Durst, 71, was being held without bond. Curiously enough, the final episode of The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst is also scheduled to air this Sunday night. According to Variety, Andrew Jarecki, who helmed the documentary, declined to comment. But when promoting the show at the Television Critics Assn. press tour in January, he told reporters, "I will tell you that by the time you get to the end of this series, you are not going to be scratching your head. You are going to have a clear view of what you think happened."
