British breakfast presenter Piers Morgan has been blasted by Kim Kardashian-West fans as a hypocrite following his comments about the star and her terrifying robbery ordeal. Reporting on the horrendous story of Kim being held at gunpoint, some were quick to point out the Daily Mail columnist had been less than complimentary about the reality star in the past.

Reporting on the breaking news of the Paris gunpoint robbery of Kardashian-West, viewers quickly demanded to know why Morgan had suddenly become a voice of sympathy on the mother-of-two after previously slating her for her appearance.
One viewer asked: "How can Piers Morgan have the nerve to talk about viewing Kim K as a human when all he does is attack her?"

In contrast to Morgan’s opinion on the American star last week - in which he was heavily critical about her varying states of undress - the Good Morning Britain host tweeted: "Feel very sorry for @kimkardashian. Must have been a terrifying experience. #Paris #Robbery".
This was also met with a strong response with many people branding him a "hypocrite".
