A tour, a new movie and now, a brand new album - it's been a good year for the lads.
Attention Directioners: we know a movie and a new album might be too much to handle withing such a short timeframe, but the 1D guys have announced the upcoming release of Midnight Memories. The lads dropped the news this Friday via their Twitter feed. Their third album (can you believe it’s been that long?) will be released on November 25.
The band’s resident ladies’ man (if the rumours are true) Harry Styles, tweeted earlier today:
Midnight Memories will be out 25th November. I think you'll like it.

Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan have been busy on their North American tour, as well as promoting their film One Direction: This Is Us, created by Supersize Me’s Morgan Spurlock. Apparently they still managed to set aside enough time for studio recordings, however, and this is the result. It’s far too early for a tracklist or any real information for that matter, but even the name is enough to get the band’s excitable followers itching to lay their hands on the new music.

Who's excited?
The lads even released a six-second teaser for the album – those are all the rage right now, we blame Vine for starting the trend. In this particular video, we see letters, written on sheets of paper, scrambled on the sidewalk, until one Mr. Styles (at least it looks like him, judging by the expertly quaffed hair) comes in and arranges them to spell Midnight Memories. Color us curious.

Scores of fans are, apparently.
