The first Tuesday edition of The Voice this season succeeded in doing what Monday's edition did: lift NBC to first place in the ratings among the key 18-49 age group during the 8:00 p.m. hour. Among total adults it took second place to CBS's powerhouse NCIS, which drew 18.1 million viewers to The Voice's 12 million. ABC's Dancing with the Stars' results edition at 9:00 managed to give that network a lift with 13.1 million viewers, but it was edged out by NCIS Los Angeles among younger viewers and also among total adults (14.3 million). However, more important, it gave a ratings boost to Body of Proof, which led the 10:00 p.m. hour with 9.6 million viewers -- its best numbers of the season.
