A model from Liverpool punched a protester who charged the catwalk at the Paris Fashion Week.
At the Nina Ricci catwalk show during Paris fashion week a model by the name of Hollie-May Saker claims she allegedly punched a feminist protester who stormed the runway during her catwalk.
The two protesters who thought by running on a catwalk at a busy fashion show topless would be a good way to promote feminism, were from a Ukrainian feminist group called Femen. They had the messages 'Models don't go to Brothels' and 'Fashion dictaterror' written across their bare torsos.
The model, from Liverpool, told the Liverpool Echo "She grabbed onto my hand. I didn't mean to hit her but as I pulled away I punched her in the face. I'm so proud of myself for being professional and carrying on walking.
She added, "My Twitter has just not stopped since it happened, everyone's going crazy about it."
The model also spoke to the Mail Online after the event and "I punched her - I didn't mean to but she grabbed my arm and I just wanted to get her off me".
"My Scouseness came out a bit but I wish it had come out a bit more. Thinking about it now I wish I'd pushed them both off the stage because they ruined my favourite show."
The 18 year old model is definitely not afraid to speak her mind either as she tweeted earlier in the Fashion week that she "can't stand some of the other models at shows...You're walking for some of the worlds greatest designers.. Crack a smile ungrateful bitch".
The fashion world may have a new star lady to look for in the future as Saker has already been described as the next Kate Moss and maybe fighting back the protesters will only help her fashion career.
