That's right, a video of a man sipping water has gone viral.
It seems that nerves got a little too much for Floridian Junior US Senator Marco Rubio who ended up with a spot of dry mouth during his GOB rebuttal speech. His now infamous 'water break' has gone viral, with people across the globe chortling at his very awkward sip.
Rubio has been described by the Telegraph as "an early favourite for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination." While one might wonder whether he's up to the task - needing a sip of water during just one speech?! What would he do if he were president? - his response to the viral sip was well said.
"I needed water, what am I going to do?" Rubio told "Good Morning America" - at which point he pulled out a bottle of water and took another sip. "God has a funny way of reminding us we're human," he added.
Furthermore, ABC spoke to Poland Spring, the brand of water that was on hand to quench the young senator's thirst. "Everyone gets thirsty and, you know, we're really glad that Poland Spring was right at hand for Senator Rubio during his need for refreshment," Jane Lazgin, a spokeswoman for Poland Spring, said. "We love water, all kinds of water. People drink a billion packaged beverages a day, so when they are looking for water, wherever they are, the simple refreshment does what it did for Senator Rubio last night. It's handy, it's there - the brand they know, Poland Spring."
