Livia Firth has worked with Sergio Rossi to create a Green Carpet Collection.

The Italian label is the first accessories brand to work on a sustainable collection and collaborated closely with Eco-Age - Livia's brand consultancy specialising in sustainability.

She told Vogue.co.uk: ''I am hugely excited about this accessory launch as it represents a significant milestone for Eco-Age. For the very first time, we now have a complete Green Carpet Challenge look - head to toe!

''Working with Sergio Rossi was an absolute pleasure. The company is completely committed to sustainable production and it was fantastic collaborating with Angelo [Ruggeri, Rossi's collection and design director], which brought me back to my Italian roots.''

Livia, who is married to actor Colin Firth, was born in Italy but now lives in London with her husband.

The collection features butterfly-inspired evening shoes with a matching bag and Kering - which owns the brand - will offset all carbon emissions resulting from this project.

The Sergio Rossi Green Carpet Collection will be available on Sergiorossi.com from Thursday (03.09.15).
