Lil' Chris' sister Hannah Hardman has lost her ''best friend'' since her brother died.

Hannah has spoken out about how ''tough'' it's been for her since she lost her sibling last month, after he committed suicide at the age of just 24 following a struggle with mental health issues and depression.

She has been finding it hard to fill the void in her life since the ''charismatic'' 'Checkin' It Out' singer - real name Christopher Hardman - passed away.

Speaking to presenters Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden on 'This Morning', she said: ''He was the most amazing type you could ever have. He was the person that everybody saw, he was never anybody else, he was always just Chris.

''He was kind and generous, and he always thought of everyone else before him - that was his main thing. He was not only my brother but one of my best friends. He was such a charismatic person all the time.''

Hannah was left in total shock after being informed her brother was dead and has revealed he was ''just the same'' in the days leading up to his death and she never believed he would ever take his own life, despite his issues.

She said: ''He was just the same Chris (in the days leading up to his death), and I think that's the most disturbing thing ... and you kind of feel, as a big sister especially, and my parents as well and everybody who loved him, that 'I should have done something more, I could have done something more,' but he was just the same Chris because he never wanted to worry anyone else.

''His main thing was to make sure that we were OK. And that we weren't worrying about him.''
