Orange is the New Black star Lauren Lapkus used Valentine's Day (14Feb16) to announce her split from her writer/actor husband Chris Alvarado.
Instead of sharing a sweet social media post on the day of love, the Jurassic World actress revealed she and Alvarado have decided to separate after nearly two years of marriage.
Lapkus posted a selfie of her and her estranged husband on Instagram, along with a caption which reads: "Happy Valentine's Day. Today feels like the right time to post that Chris and I have decided to part ways. This has been a tough time but we are still friends and wish the best for each other."
Lapkus and Alvarado tied the knot in May, 2014.
