Kings of Leon rocked the stage at the iTunes festival last night (11.09.13) in Camden, North London mixing up popular old tracks with newer singles.
Kings of Leon showcased 'Mechanical Bull' at the iTunes festival last night (11.09.13).
The band were eager to showcase songs from their sixth album - set for release on September 24 - opening the show withe recent single 'Supersoaker' and also performing new tracks 'Family Tree', 'Wait for Me' and 'Don't Matter'.
Frontman Caleb Followill warned the 5,000 strong crowd early on to expect new material, telling them: ''We are gonna play some old stuff, gonna play some new stuff, it is not up to you, we are not just gonna play old stuff.''
However, as well as new songs, the band's set at London's Roundhouse venue was still full of their biggest tracks, including 'Crawl', 'Fans', 'On Call' and 'Molly's Chambers'.
Claeb - who is joined in the band by brothers Jared and Nathan and their cousin Matthew - also warned that the group were a little ''rusty'' after a few days off before they performed 2007 hit 'Come On' and 2008's 'Cold Desert'.
He said: ''All right, we didn't really rehearse for this show, so we have some parts that may be rusty.''
The boys wrapped up the night with their huge 2008 hit 'Sex on Fire', which received a rapturous applause from fans.
