The controversial columnist appears to have had her mouth piece taken away from her
The forum from which most of Katie Hopkins’ insensitive, often appalling and regularly hurtful comments are released to the world has been compromised: the ‘controversial columnist’ has had her Twitter account hacked.
Katie Hopkins may not have been smiling today after her Twitter account was hacked
It seems Hopkins has lost control of her account from which she has frequently stirred up trouble by posting comments such as comparing immigrants to cockroaches and, most recently, for describing TOWIE's Dan Osbourne’s new born daughter as a "hairy spider".
The reality TV contestant’s hacker has not been kind to her and has inundated her feed with links to pornographic sites, a profile picture of a large Katie Hopkins during her experiment as a fat person and her Twitter handle has been changed to ‘jiggly jaws Katie’.

However, many on the social networking site were not as sympathetic as they could have been with one user writing: "If there was anyone better who deserved to lose their Twitter, I can’t think of them right now."
Comedian Dom Jolly could only lament the fact that Hopkins’ hacker had not done more with their new power, tweeting: "Shame that whoever hacked Katie Hopkins account was smart enough to do so but too dumb to do anything intelligent with it."

At the time of writing, Katie’s profile picture had been restored but it’s not possible to determine if she has regained full control of the account as her feed only has one retweet.
Her website also appears to have been disabled.
