Hit-boy Retires From Music Production At 27

Popular hip-hop producer Hit-Boy has retired from making beats at the age of 27.
The in-demand musician has scored hits working with artists including Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Jay Z and Kanye West over the years, but he took to Twitter.com late on Wednesday (12Nov14) to announce he would no longer be stepping behind the production board - and didn't offer up any further explanation.
He simply wrote, "I retired from music industry production last night".
Hit-Boy rose to fame in 2007 after producing tracks for Lopez, Snoop Dogg and Missy Elliott, and later signed to West's G.O.O.D. Music label in 2011. His discography includes Jay Z and West's N**gas in Paris, their G.O.O.D. Music collaboration Clique, Kendrick Lamar's Backseat Freestyle and Beyonce's Flawless.
