Beady Eye's Gem Archer has broken his leg.
The 46-year-old rocker - who fractured his skull last month following a tumble down the stairs - has had a metal pin inserted into one of his limbs and will spend four months in a plaster cast after a recent accident in the bathroom at home caused his lower leg to snap in two places.
A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Gem's on a bad run of luck right now. First the fall down the stairs and now this. He can't even explain how it happened, it was just a freak accident. His leg gave way under him and just went.
''He's got a double fracture to the tibia and fibula, the two long bones in the lower leg.''
Beady Eye were forced to cancel a number of concert dates in the summer after the British star was hospitalised for a severe head injury, but now he will have to wait even longer before he will be seen back on stage with Liam Gallagher, Andy Bell, Chris Sharrock and Jay Mehler.
It is unclear if the band will continue with their planned November tour without Gem.
Meanwhile, Sir Paul McCartney has waded into the feud between Liam and his brother Noel Gallagher - who famously felt out in 2009 causing the breakup of their iconic band Oasis - saying he believes the pair should put their differences aside.
Paul said: ''I'm sure the Gallaghers love each other on some level, probably quite deeply. But that certainly isn't going to get said soon.
''You can actually say 'I love you' to someone - but it's quite hard. And so that's why it's usually easier when you're a bit drunk. It would be a bit like [The Rolling Stones'] Keith Richards saying to [bandmate] Mick [Jagger], 'I love you'. I mean, he does - but I'm not sure he's going to say it.''
