A former 'Bad Girls Club' contestant has died at the age of 22.
Linsey Jade, best known as a contestant on the US reality show Bad Girls Club, has died at the age of 22. Details surrounding her untimely death are yet to be divulged but Oxygen, the network behind Bad Girls Club, confirmed the sad news on their blog on Friday (3rd April).
Linsey Jade has died at the age of 22.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Linsey 'Jade' Berardi, who appeared in Bad Girls Club Season 12. Our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts go out to her family, friends and fans," a spokesperson for Oxygen Media said.
The spokesperson also described Berardi's lifelong love of animals and requested, in lieu of flowers, mourners send donations to animal shelters.
Berardi starred in the 12th season of Bad Girls Club, which aired last year. Bad Girls Club is a reality show in which seven troublesome women are placed in a luxury mansion for three months. The series is currently on its thirteenth season, which premiered in January of this year.
Berardi left the show after the second episode of the 12th season after becoming embroiled in a fight with Jada Cacchilli. A number of those who starred in the show have paid tribute to the late reality star.
Cacchilli said she was "sad" to find out about Berardi's death and that "however she was taken, I pray it was a peaceful depart."
"We may not have been friends BUT we shared an experience most will never have or truly understand..." Cacchilli added in a picture she posted on Instagram on Thursday (2nd April).
