It's perhaps not enough that NFL football is the most widely discussed topic of conversation around the water cooler; it may now become the most widely discussed topic of conversation around the gas pump as well. Outcast, which aims to extend television viewing beyond the home and office and operates Pumptop TV at 12,000 gas station screens, announced today (Monday) that it has signed an agreement with the NFL to carry game highlights from the NFL Network. Noting that the "demanding, action-packed lives" of some fans may keep them from catching every game, Outcast Chief Revenue Officer Nathan Gill said that the company has teamed up with the NFL Network "to keep our massive audience of on-the-goers entertained and informed." Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
