The video of a golden eagle 'snatching' a baby has garnered almost 7.5 million in less than 48 hours, as viewers were shocked and amused by it.
However, in the wake of the standard office discussions, trying to work out whether it's real or not, as USA Today reports that a Montreal College has owned up to the fact that three of their students made it. It's a fake. In a statement, they said "Both the eagle and the kid were created in 3D animation and integrated in to the film afterwards."Adding that, "the production simulation workshop class, offered in fifth semester, aims to produce creative projects according to industry production and quality standards while developing team work skills," the statement said. "Hoaxes produced in this class have already garnered attention, amongst others a video of a penguin having escaped the Montreal Biodôme."
