Duck Dynasty, camo and guns – some things just go together perfectly, which is why the news that the controversial Robertson clan is launching a line of camouflage guns makes perfect sense. The Robertsons, fresh out of Phil’s homophobia scandal, have teamed up with Connecticut gun manufacturer Mossberg on the line of nine shotguns, two rifles and a semi-automatic pistol, according to the New York Daily News.

Presumably designed for the fashion-forward duck hunter, the weapons will come in a camouflage print. In addition to the line of firearms itself, Phil Robertson has also worked on two promotional videos for the collection, touting the guns’ ability to “blow a mallard drake's head smooth off.” Presumably that means to… err… shoot a duck.

The line also includes a high-capacity pistol. The .22 caliber 715P Pistol can hold 26 rounds and is described as “perfect for small game, plinking, target shooting — or clearing cottonmouths out of your duck blind,” according to the company’s website. Thankfully, the guns aren’t available for online purchase yet. According to the promotional videos, the Robertsons are just trying to share their passion. The marketing campaign includes branding each gun with the Robertsons' logo of a duck in flight. Some of the guns are already out in local stores.

“Where there is design, there is a designer,” Robertson said in a separate video, echoing the family’s religious beliefs. “We were designed to kill ducks.”

Those same religious beliefs were what got Robertson in trouble originally. After the Dynasty's patriarch referred to homosexuality as "not logical" and claimed that black people in Louisiana were happier before the Civil Rights Movement, social networks errupted with criticism. This led to A&E suspending Robertson from the show. However, after the family threatened to quit the program altogether and religious groups and public figures like Sarah Palin rallied in support of Phil, the duck patriarch was reinstated.
