Rap mogul DR. DRE is facing a $1.2 million (£800,000) lawsuit for allegedly failing to pay for studio time.
The legendary producer is being sued by Paramount Recording Studios in California for breach of contract.
In a lawsuit filed at Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday (23Jul10), the claimants allege that Dre - real name Andre Young - failed to pay for the use of a recording studio between April 2009 and June 2010. The papers claim that Young promised to pay the amount by 13 July (10), but failed to do so.
It is reported the rapper has used the recording studio for a decade and got a cheaper rate on the space, according to Allhiphop.com.
