The rapper was killed in a gun fight held outside an Alabama club
Doe B, the rapper who was part of the Grand Hustle-affiliated Hustle Gang rap crew, was shot and killed on Friday, 27 December, Rap-Up reports. According to initial reports, the rapper was gunned down following an altercation outside an Alabama night club, one which ended in a gun fight between rival cliques and Doe's eventual death.

Doe B was at the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill in Montgomery, Alabama, when the trouble broke out in the small hours of the night. The 22-year-old was fatally shot during a heated altercation that took place at roughly 1.30 am, with details on the killing still limited to press. According to local reports, the gun fight resulted in a further killing, with an unconfirmed person also allegedly shot down. Police have only confirmed the death of Doe however, according to Global Grind - citing followers on Twitter - the other victim was 21-year-old woman Kim Johnson.

Doe was one of Hustle Gang's rising members and a protege of rapper T.I., who sent his regards to the young artist via his Instagram page. He was signed to Grand Hustle by T.I. and made waves with his first mixtape, Baby Jesus, before going on to gain considerable buzz with his subsequent releases. He became distinguishable from his trademark eye patch, the result of a previous shooting that took place three years ago.

Since the news of his death was broken, tributes for the late rapper have flooded in from the hip-hop community, with T.I. leading the way in the tributes. As well as his fellow Grand Hustle and Hustle Crew members, Doe has been remembered by Drake, who tweeted: "RIP Doe B."
