Danniella Westbrook has vehemently denied recent reports that she was caught ‘performing a sex act’ on her boyfriend George Arnold while travelling in a chauffeur-driven car on the M25.

42 year old Danniella, who recently reprised her most well-known role as Sam Mitchell on BBC’s soap ‘EastEnders’ this year, dubbed a report by The Sun as “full of lies”. The report cited a chauffeur for London car hire company, Simpsons, who threatened to stop their journey unless she and her 24 year old boyfriend stopped what they were doing in the back seat.

The actress took to Twitter on Wednesday (June 29th) to deny the story, and to thank her fans for the support she received from them. “This is amazing thank you all x Shame @TheSun are against me about to run a story full of lies about George & me.”

“There is no proof in this story whatsoever,” Westbrook’s representatives added in a formal statement the following day. A representative for Simpsons also denied that anybody at their company had made such a claim to The Sun.

The original article appeared in the same week that a new programme, entitled ‘Danniella Westbrook: In Therapy’ was broadcast on Channel 5, in which she opened up on her struggles with her cocaine habit years ago, and revealed abuse she suffered as a child.

“Danniella was being driven home in a car paid for by Channel 5 after appearing on ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ where she’d insisted on bringing her young boyfriend George,” a source said to The Sun.

“The Simpsons driver reported Danniella was performing a sex act on her boyfriend in the back of the car. The driver asked her to stop or he was going to pull over and chuck her out once he was off the M25. She stopped her performance but everyone at Simpsons was completely stunned.”
