Cruz Beckham is taking ballet lessons.

David and Victoria's seven-year-old son - who also does tae kwon do and breakdancing - decided to take up the hobby in a bid to get closer to girls.

Joining in with one of his mother's interviews, he admits he was inspired by the fact, ''his cousin is very lucky because he gets to lift up girls.''

Proud Victoria, 37, added: ''He's very good at breakdancing. He spins on his head.''

Little Cruz is extremely close to brothers Brooklyn, 13, and Romeo, seven, and the Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer says they love to have sleepovers in each others' rooms whenever they can.

She told Vogue: ''They cuddle up like little peas in a pod, but only on a non-school night.'' David then joked: ''Or when Mummy's had a glass of wine.''

Despite their highly successful careers, the couple - who also have eight-month-old daughter Harper - insist their children remain the centre of their lives.

Victoria said: ''David and I make sure our schedules revolve around the kids. Because we are really focused on what we do work-wise, it allows us to be balanced.''

Admitting they haven't holidayed together for three years, David laughed: ''We haven't seen an adult movie in years. Nothing above PG-13.''
