Only days after the release of the Steve Jobs biopic jOBS, starring Ashton Kutcher, was indefinitely delayed, thereby raising the possibility of its being released at about the same time as Alan Sorkin's planned Jobs biopic, it emerged that a third biopic has also been produced. The comedy website FunnyOrDie.com announced over the weekend that it has already made its Jobs movie, titled iSteve and plans to make it available online on April 15. In true Internet fashion, it's not based on very thorough research -- essentially a cursory look at the Steve Jobs Wikipedia page, writer/producer Ryan Perez told the New York Times. He said that it took him three days to write the script and five days to film it. We might not be the best, but we will be the first, he observed. It will mark the first time that a longform movie -- it's 65 minutes long -- has been posted at the FunnyOrDie website.
