Adult Swim voice actor Clay Martin Croker dies suddenly
Beloved voice actor, Clay Martin Croker, has died aged 54. Best known as the voice of both Zorak and Moltar on Cartoon Network programme 'Space Ghost Coast To Coast', the star laid the foundations for what would end up being the popular alternative network 'Adult Swim'.
The news was reported by rapper MC Chris and Adult Swim creative director Jason DeMarco. Details on the reason for Croker's death remain unknown but it was seemingly a shock to both Chris and DeMarco; Chris spoke of the "sudden" nature of the event, while DeMarco described his passing as "unbelievable".

Space Ghost Coast To Coast was a satirical talkshow hosted by intergalactic superhero Space Ghost during which he would interview unsuspecting celebrities in an intentionally hostile manner. The programme was aided by Zorak and Moltar as the thorn in Space Ghost's side, with the two characters showing an open hatred for the superhero.
The cult-classic programme was one of the first to introduce cringe-comedy in America and was integral to the success of what became Adult Swim; the block of programming now hosts some of the most popular animation in the US with Family Guy, Robot Chicken and Black Dynamite being shown and Croker was fundamental to this process.
Croker was the principal animator for the programme and it was said to be his idea to introduce Zorak and Moltar to Space Ghost Coast To Coast. He went on to be an animator for Aqua Teen Hunger Force and voiced the characters Dr. Weird and Steve amongst others.
