Late Yes Star Chris Squire's Widow Scotland Is Asking Fans To Think Fondly Of Her Husband And Play His Music As She Lays Him To Rest In Phoenix, Arizona.
The rocker lost his cancer battle in his adopted city on Saturday (27Jun15), and he'll be buried there on America's Independence Day (04Jul15).
Confirming his funeral plans in a statement released to WENN on Wednesday (01Jul15), Scotland writes, "My best friend and the love of my life, Chris Squire, will be cremated today in Scottsdale, Arizona at 3.00pm. However, knowing Chris, he might be running a bit late for the event; after all, he has always been the 'late' Chris Squire.
"So at 3:00pm Phoenix time, please take a moment to play your favorite Yes or Chris Squire song, or just think of your favorite Chris Squire memory."
