Chloe Moretz never lets her friends come to her film premieres.

The 'Kick Ass' actress doesn't allow her friends to see her at the openings of her movies as she considers it work and doesn't want them to spoil her concentration.

She said: ''I don't let them visit me filming and I don't bring them to premieres. It's a different head zone - when I'm on set, I'm working. When I'm just with my friends, I can just hang out, do normal stuff and generally be a complete idiot. It's the same with everyone.''

The 15-year-old was taught her acting skills by her elder brother, which was the best route for her because he could ease her into it.

She told InStyle magazine: ''I remember thinking, 'Whatever this is, it makes me happy, and I want to do it,' so we decided to do a few auditions, just to see. And Trevor said he'd teach me the acting skills he learned at school. If felt really comfortable, because it was just me hanging out with my brother.''

As well as learning from her elder sibling, she takes her fashion sense from her mother.

Chloe added: ''She has some of the best clothes ever. There's this insane red blazer from the 80s, it is literally the chicest thing. But it's important that I don't wear clothes that make me look way older than I am... like 25.''
