What prompted the actor's subway outburst?
Spending hours every day in the post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead can make anyone go a little off, but Chad L. Coleman’s subway meltdown was a particularly special moment.
To say Coleman had some pent up frustration would be an understatement.
The rant, documented in full in a video for TMZ starts out pretty intense, with Coleman yelling: “I wanna know where my humanitarians are! Yes, I’m Chad L. Coleman, I’m on The Wire, The Walking Dead, I’m not trying to f****** play no game with you!”

It sounds fairly nonsensical out of context, but here’s how Coleman himself explained it for the website. According to TMZ, just before his outburst, the actor had heard a young man and woman on the train discussing him and trying to figure out why he looked familiar. He says the guy told the girl, "No, we don't know that n*****," and that was what set him off.

The speech continues, with Coleman asking “At the end of the day, where’s the humanitarian in you?” and declaring that “That’s the g*****n truth!”
According to TMZ, the actor later explained that he was referencing the media response and police handling of the protests in Baltimore. And just in case there was any doubt, Coleman also made it clear that he was sober on the train.
