The Centre for Fashion Enterprise has named Fyodor Golan, Teatum Jones and Marques Almeida the new recipients of its New Fashion Ventures programme.
Fyodor Golan, Teatum Jones and Marques Almeida have been granted the Centre for Fashion Enterprise's New Fashion Ventures programme.
The up-and-coming fashion brands have each been given free studio space for the next two years and cash to spend on marketing as well as dedicated business support as part of the scheme intended to boost their profiles.
Wendy Malem, CFE's director, said: ''Business is tough right now for new labels, but I can sense the entrepreneurial spirit that will sustain the business visions of these talented designers. Their connection with global markets is already plain to see.
''The scheme is unique because we offer free studio space, one-on-one bespoke support, introductions to our CFE network and we identify the needs of each and every designer individually. We create new business opportunities in the EU and globally.''
The New Fashion Ventures programme has helped more than 200 emerging designers since it was set up in 2003.
Erdem, Peter Pilotto and Mary Katrantzou are just a few of the names to have benefitted from the £4 million funding the CFE has offered in the past.
The selection process favours those who can prove ''entrepreneurial spirit, desire to succeed as a business, talent and a distinctive design DNA''.
