Congratulations to the newly-weds!
Congratulations to Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson, the two stars of the WNBA , who just tied the knot this weekend. The couple chose a Phoenix mountaintop as the site of their union, according to People.
Griner plays center for the Phoenix Mercury.
Griner said “I do” in front of a crowd of 75 of their closest friends and loved ones, beneath an archway at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort. Bouquets and arrangements of white hydrangea, white and coral roses, and peach hypericum berries helped establish their theme of "desert elegance" in the city where Griner plays centre for the three-time WNBA champion Phoenix Mercury (Johnson plays forward for Tulsa Shock.) Oh, and if that doesn’t already sound like your dream wedding already, Griner and Johnson shared their first dance to the tune of Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud.

People shared some additional details of the wedding, including that Johnson, wore a full-length, strapless champagne gown with a small train by Matthew Christopher that she selected from Bridals by Lori in Atlanta on an episode of TLC's Say Yes to the Dress.
The pair shared their special day in a series of photographs, published by People. The couple were engaged last August. After the ceremony, they celebrated with a sit-down dinner on the resort's Falls Terrace, followed by a tiered cake dessert that combined Griner's favorite, white cake, with Johnson's favorite, red velvet.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
